Privacy policy

Note: This is a convenience translation. The German version is legally authoritative.

Protecting your personal data matters to us. This website is deliberately data-minimising: it sets no cookies, uses no web or local storage, embeds no third-party services and performs no tracking or analytics. All content is served from our own server; opening the website triggers no requests to third parties.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is:

YUGA Consulting GmbH
Schlipfinger Str. 35, 83346 Bergen, Germany
Managing Director: Jan Stefan Korsch
Email: info@yuga-consulting.com

Full contact and register details are provided in the imprint. No data protection officer has been appointed, and none is legally required.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by netcup GmbH in Germany. When the website is accessed, the server automatically processes technically necessary access data in server log files:

  • IP address of the requesting device,
  • date and time of access,
  • the address or file requested,
  • volume of data transferred and status code,
  • browser and operating-system identifier (user agent).

This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website and the prevention of misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Server log files are deleted after 30 days. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.

3. No cookies, no tracking, no analytics

No cookies are set and no web or local storage is used. There is no reach measurement, no analytics tool and no user tracking. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

4. Fonts

The typeface used, "Manrope" (SIL Open Font License 1.1), is self-hosted and served from our own server. There is no connection to external font services; loading the font transfers no data to third parties.

5. Contact form

You can send us a message via the contact form. We process the details you enter: name, company, email address, message and the selected website language.

Submissions are sent to an endpoint operated by us on our server in Germany, from where your enquiry is forwarded to us by email. No permanent storage in a database takes place. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (handling your enquiry or initiating a contractual relationship) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Your enquiry received by email is deleted once it has been conclusively dealt with, and at the latest after one year.

6. Protection against automated misuse

To protect the contact form against automated submissions, a purely technical method is used (a "honeypot" field that is invisible to you). No additional personal data is collected, no cookies are set and no data is transmitted to third parties.

7. Contact by email

If you contact us directly by email (e.g. at info@yuga-consulting.com), we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

8. Recipients and third countries

Your data is not shared with third parties, except for the technically necessary hosting provider under a data processing agreement (see section 2). No transfer to third countries outside the EU or EEA takes place.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An informal message to the controller named in section 1 is sufficient to exercise these rights.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:

Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA)
Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach (P.O. Box 1349, 91504 Ansbach)
Phone: +49 (0) 981 180093-0 · Fax: +49 (0) 981 180093-800
Email: poststelle@lda.bayern.de
Web: www.lda.bayern.de

11. Retention

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. Server log files are deleted after 30 days (section 2); contact enquiries are deleted once conclusively dealt with, and at the latest after one year (section 5).

12. Changes to this privacy policy

We update this privacy policy when the actual data processing changes.
